Precast concrete manholes are an integral component of any modern sewer system. Precast concrete manhole sections are produced in a controlled environment, thus exhibiting high quality and uniformity. A properly designed and installed precast concrete manhole system provides superior watertight performance and will provide the long-term solution you need.
Precast concrete pipes and box culverts are incredibly versatile. They can be manufactured in a wide range of sizes and configurations, and can be used to convey stormwater or wastewater, create short span-bridges and access ways, or for rainwater retention or detention, to name only a few applications.
We provide superior quality, precast concrete products – including pipe, manholes and box culverts – developed to the exact specifications issued by the American Society for Testing and Materials. Our products are sold to contractors and municipalities for the installation of sanitary, storm and water main systems.
We enjoy a longstanding reputation for supplying consistently superior products, operating our facilities safely, treating our employees fairly, complying with all environmental responsibilities, and servicing our customers with the highest level of integrity.
In 2014, Concrete Specialties completed the purchase of two competitors in the Chicago marketplace. The concrete pipe equipment and inventory of Elmhurst, Chicago Stone, was purchased in April, 2014, and all of the assets of National Concrete Pipe were acquired in August of 2014. The addition of these companies’ assets have added to our capacity for production and have added experienced precast professionals who make our organization stronger.
Our new resources allow us to serve customers from northern Indiana through central Wisconsin. Furthermore, the new Franklin Park operation (formally National Concrete Products) gives Concrete Specialties better access to projects in the City of Chicago as well as O’Hare International Airport.
